An Opel CIH Getrag 240 5 speed could be used or a T5 with an adapter plate. A beefier Chevy S10 clutch can also be made to fit the Opel flywheel. A 2,2 or 2,4 will easily make 140 - 150 hp with dual side drafts (or fuel injection), a little porting and a cam swap. There are limited slip diffs for the rear axle too.
