Coming back to VW after an unplanned hiatus and looking at a 2023 Arteon R in the coming months. I'm already making my list of tuning parts, springs, wheels, etc. and searching for exhaust, have only found the Millteh, which after listening to sound clips & Youtube vids. its louder than I'd like...
The first commercially successful internal combustion engine was developed by Jean Joseph Étienne Lenoir in 1860. This engine, which he installed in his "Hippomobile," had about 1.5 horsepower. Lenoir's engine was a significant early step in the evolution of internal combustion engines, though...
I had 2019 Arteon SEL Premium R-line with regular press buttons on steering wheel and had no issues. When upgraded to newer redesign 2021 Arteon SEL Premium R-line with touch controls the saga started.
VCDS was unable to open/interpret the long code for the 09-Cent. Elec. module in version 19.6. I was able to experiment with a few things such as tear-wipe and enabling the adaptive lane control assist. I'd be very interested in learning how you completed #1 in your list as well as participating in a US Arteon VCDS Mod Thread!
The Arteon does not have larger or more powerful engine options, but is larger and heavier that other VW models, so it will never have equal performance. And if one wants to tow, one gets a manual tranmission.
Arteon engine = Golf R engine They both spec VW 504 oil. Neither spec VW 508. I have a problem with people spreading misinformation on the forums. What does the sticker in your engine compartment say? Just saying!

If your Arteon has the Travel Assist not available warnings, please file a complaint with the NHTSA. I keep reading all the complaints from people online about this problem, and there is only ONE complaint filed. This is a safety issue in our cars and VW needs to actually fix it…mine is up to...

Or is an Arteon an Arteon and all can interchange wheels? The reason I ask is when I look at VW Part information they seem to make a distinction between 2019-2021 and 2022+ model years for their wheels. For example, see the "What this fits" "more" section for the following wheel originally offered on some Arteon trim lines.
