I've also noticed that the menu system is far faster than my old RX-V6A, another thing i noticed switching between my pc and xbox (hdmi 4 and 3) it works everytime, on the RX-V6A i'd have to switch the AVR off and on again to get the picture. Generally the AVR seems so much quicker.

WEBSep 14, 2021 · I just got an email from Yamaha about the firmware update for the RX-A4A 120hz update. It should be ready by end of Feb. Here is their exact response. Please note that the RX-A4A is currently in testing spec process before "activating" the 4K120Hz Pass-through feature. This is why you cannot run the [120hz] refresh rate at tis time.
