I've had door position switch failures but they are easy to replace and free under warranty. None of my other cookers are as easy to use or hold cook chamber temps as well as the Masterbuilt.

WEBJan 6, 2021 · IMO, the 560 is still a bottom up cooker, heat rises up through the cooker. It does not use the fan strictly for convection, it uses the fan to stoke the fire. It just gives the fire more or less air.

This thing is incredible for the build in temp controller, wifi, and charcoal/wood gravity fuel. It is awesome for auto-cook and does a great job with smoking.

WEBJan 3, 2021 · The wires will overheat, melt and short out. Check your wiring directly from the fan to the wire it plugs into that goes to the controller. Chances are good that's what the problem is and is an easy fix to cut out the bad part of the wires, then splice them together using wire nuts, butt splicers or just plain electrician's tape. C.
